Hi, I’m Maggie — and I’m so grateful you’re here.
I’m a certified Fertility Awareness Educator and Integrative Health Practitioner, and like many of you, I started charting to better understand my body after years of being miserable on birth control — first I used charting avoid pregnancy, and later to conceive. Through this work, I’ve witnessed just how powerful it is when women are equipped with real knowledge about their cycles and feel confident reading the signs their bodies are giving them every day.
Body Wise was created to walk you through this process step-by-step. My goal is to help you feel empowered, encouraged, and educated — whether you're charting for birth control, trying to conceive, or simply wanting to tune in more deeply to your hormones and health.

Body Wise is for any woman who wants to understand her cycle, whether you’re preventing pregnancy, trying to conceive, postpartum, coming off birth control, or just want to know what your body is telling you. Charting gives you real-time information about your health, hormones, and overall wellbeing — no matter what season you're in.

You do not need any prior experience to get started. I walk you step-by-step through the process, using simple language, real-life examples, and gentle guidance. My goal is for you to feel empowered and confident, not overwhelmed. The body is incredibly wise — we just need to learn how to listen. It does take a little practice but you’ll be amazed at how quickly you get the hang of it.

That’s actually a great time to start charting. Irregular or shifting cycles often reveal helpful information, and charting can bring clarity when your body is still recalibrating. I’ll teach you how to observe and interpret your body’s signs, even when cycles aren’t following a perfect pattern.

You will learn the foundations of Fertility Awareness and how to chart your primary biomarkers. Many women successfully use this method for contraception. FAM can be anywhere from 92%-99% effective based on user caution. I talk about how to make this method most effective in the course!

I recommend a basic basal body thermometer (listed in the course) or a Tempdrop (link for a discount in the course) to track your temperatures. It’s up to you if you want to use an app or a paper chart! The app I recommend is Read Your Body.
